The body suffered for a reason…
The body suffered for a reason.
Then spring came as soul’s season.
Spirit cannot be imprisoned.

The samurai lived through many battles.
The blows of the enemies reflected countless times.
His attacks became more perfect.
The samurai returned to himself.
He found the child inside.
How lively his life has become!
The samurai upheld the law.
And punished all for petty crimes.
Thus broke God's law a thousand times.
The samurai rises at dawn.
He meets the sunrise with a smile.
Not everyone is given the joy of being alive.
The samurai stood by the river.
As in a mirror, he was looking at it.
Saw the same flexibility inside himself.
The samurai was drinking sake.
His sorrows did not go away.
Were mixed with poison that way.
The samurai lived in a doubt.
Was doubting others all way.
A doubtful approach, we say.
The samurai loved all people.
Yet only the ones who loved him.
Much easier to give in response.
The samurai shared the good.
Was giving his share of junk.
A worthy endeavor, indeed.
